C2 seeks a Visual Information Specialist to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation located in Washington, DC.
Summary
The Visual Information Specialist (VIS) shall design and maintain high-quality professional branding for the SRO as a new entity. The VIS shall design and implement the overall look and format for written products and other media, such as reports, presentations, websites and brochures, utilizing highly professional standards for visual content. The VIS shall also design and implement various graphics, such as charts, tables, diagrams, and photos, to display visual content within written products and other media. Finally, the VIS shall work with the Strategic Review Office's (SRO's) SharePoint Specialist to develop and implement visual designs for web-based content and products. In general, the VIS shall work collaboratively with SRO employees to create and implement visual designs that convey the necessary information, clarifying design issues, and thinking creatively to product novel ways to present information.
Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain high-quality professional branding for the SRO as a new entity.
  • Design and implement the overall look and format for written products and other media,such as reports,presentations, websites and brochures, utilizing highly professional standards for visual content.Design and implement various graphics, such as charts, tables, diagrams and photos, to display visual content within written products and other media utilizing highly professional standards for visual content.
  • Develop and implement visual designs for web-based content and products.
  • Work collaboratively with SRO employees to create and implement visual designs that convey the necessary information, clarifying design issues and thinking creatively to produce novel ways to present information.
  • Note: all work products shall conform to FBI approved design conventions (e.g. look and feel / color schemes).
Requirements
  • Multimedia artist and design experience in creating highly compelling computer-generated drawings, illustrations, and animations for web-based courseware including 3D modeling, 2D and 3D animations.
  • Knowledge of/familiarly with and/or expertise in the use of graphic design software(s) such as Maya, ZBrush, Unity, Quark, software(s) such as Adobe Creative Cloud, TML5/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Share Point, and must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must possess a Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain up to an SCI.
