Job Description

The Sales Director is responsible for West sales leadership to include building and leading direct Account Managers for SLED accounts. The Sales Director will work with sales team to evaluate opportunities and execute an intelligent pursuit plan to sell Infor product suite to include licensing & permitting solutions to State, Local, Education, and Utilities Marketplace. The SLED Sales Director will have experience managing various CRM technology projects and/or process projects across marketing, sales & business development. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the sales technology managers. They will hire, coach and performance management these people to make sure they are hitting all appropriate metrics and adding value to the business.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes:

  • Articulate the product suite value proposition and successfully communicate the competitive advantages, resources and processes to client and prospects.
  • Responsible for the team being equipped with the right skills, coordinating all necessary enablement and related education to completed required projects.
  • Drive alignment of team members and execute talent management programs throughout the year.
  • Responsible for the effectiveness of people processes, ensuring people initiatives are completed and monitored (Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations (RREs), compensation reviews, talent reviews etc.).
  • Understand and execute the PBM journey for all employees by championing our guiding principles to transform our culture proactively tracking, monitoring and managing all agreed KPIs.
  • Own the implementation and execution of all operational plans that impact team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Value proposition experience.
  • Experience working closely with sales team and prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create appropriate solution to meet their business needs.
  • Experience with customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans and establish, document, and maintain communication and follow-up procedures for all assigned accounts.
  • Experience negotiating pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing Sales Strategies related to SLED marketplace.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience selling permitting and licensing products and solutions.
  • Knowledge of large enterprise business processes.
