Performance Assessment Representative
Washington Navy Yard

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Washington, headquartered on the historic Washington Navy Yard, manages the planning, design, and construction of all shore facilities for the Navy & U.S. Marine Corps in the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia, and Maryland and boasts more than $1 Billion in annual business volume. Approximately 1,600 military and civilian employees provide “cradle to grave” services to ensure all facilities, utilities, contracts, construction, and transportation needs are being met in support of the warfighter.

Duties & Responsibilities:
> Oversee the planning, scheduling, performance measurements, progress, and all other aspects of agency contracts.
> Develop inspection schedules to ensure the quality of work.
> Liaise between production, engineering, quality control, and contracting.
> Prepare quality assurance plans or performance assessment plans.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 > 1 year of experience with:
    -      Federal contracts involving hazardous waste, construction, technical services, and service maintenance requirements.
  • Applying contract administration procedures and regulations to assure contractor compliance with performance specifications for quality, timeliness, material, and methods as applicable
  • Reading blueprints, architectural drawings, and work specifications.

> Candidates must be able to receive and hold a Secret clearance prior to their start date, however, a clearance is NOT required to be considered for this position.
