What you will be doing

The Manager, Consumer Marketing manages the development and execution of national and local marketing campaigns and promotions for Good Neighbor Pharmacy. The Manager, Consumer Marketing is an experienced business-to-consumer marketer with proven experience in omnichannel marketing strategy, project management, communications, content creation, writing, and branding. This position works closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure franchise members are equipped with relevant marketing materials to promote their pharmacies online and in-store.

This role will be hybrid to our Conshohocken PA office Location

  • Manages the development and execution of local and national marketing initiatives, including, but not limited to, creating marketing plans, serving as project manager, developing timelines, drafting internal and external communications, ensuring brand adherence, and partnering with vendors to support marketing initiatives.
  • Organizes project plans and timelines to ensure milestones are met and issues are addressed; works with internal stakeholders to execute project plans and keep projects on track.
  • Develops consumer-facing content to support national and local campaigns and initiatives to drive awareness and growth for franchise members.
  • Aggregates and evaluates key reporting information for the department, including budget adherence and marketing analytics, to measure theeffectiveness of marketing initiatives and deliver recommendations based on performance.
  • Plans and executes the web strategy and content for MyGNP.com to drive traffic to franchise locations and support consumer awareness and education of key pharmacy services and offerings.
  • Creates and updates marketing collateral for franchise members, including distributing monthly mailings and overseeing creative direction for marketing collateral and mailings.
  • Manages opt-in campaigns for franchise members and coordinates distribution of campaign materials for franchise members.
  • Maintains effective internal and external communications to inform relevant stakeholders about marketing initiatives and resources.
  • Collaborates with Enterprise Marketing to consistently ensure key marketing initiatives are cohesive and effectively promoted and communicated from B2B to B2C.
  • Manages the Good Neighbor Pharmacy digital asset management platform and identifies enhancements to increase its value to members.
  • Collaborates with the learning and development team to drive users for theGood Neighbor Pharmacy University learning portal. Assists with the coordination of trade show activities, including developing marketing and merchandising opportunities, overseeing floor plans and design, managing plans for the Marketing Lab, training staff and vendors, and more.
  • Collaborates with Cencora field team members to keep them abreast of key marketing initiatives to maximize member awareness, engagement, and utilization.
  • Must be willing to travel to company events such as trade shows and marketing meetings.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, communications, journalism, English, marketing or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of 5+ years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Generally expect a manager to have 5+ years of experience.

  • Effective time management skills, ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships and provide customer service to internal staff

  • Strong organizational skills, including project management; attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Graphics knowledge helpful
  • Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
