EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Consumer Service Project Manager in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple releases/projects - work prioritization, planning, task delegation, and coordination across functional teams.
  • Detail-driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture.
  • Lead releases through the ideation, technical development, and delivery of innovative products/features.
  • Drive product/feature development with Partners and Engineering.
  • Communicate new/updated features /products to Stakeholders and cross-functional organizations.
  • Provide product expertise and define/write service requirements/description, track implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications.
  • Ensure services were delivered correctly, to a high standard, cost-effectively and on schedule while facilitating communications between all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the support of the services/products and act as the escalation path to help facilitate the resolution for those escalations.
  • Monitor compliance to SLA agreements.
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
  • Identify and initiate opportunities for new projects or focus areas.
  • Draw on your knowledge and experience to influence business decisions and contractual commitments.
  • Improve the customer experience - Solicit and synthesize customer feedback to identify areas of improvement.
  • Survey customer experience and determine ways to improve customer satisfaction and reduce cost.
  • Provide recommendations to improve performance and value to the customer.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in Service Delivery/management, Software Product Management and/or Design
  • 3+ years of experience developing software as a service or service vision and strategy in Customer Experience, Customer Success, or related areas
  • 3+ years' experience in writing business or technical requirements for new capabilities and features
  • 3 + years of experience working collaboratively with partners and in-house teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Project Management, MBA or related technical field
  • Ability across multiple organizations and proven track record of being able to collaborate with both partners and in-house stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management
  • Certified Project Management Professional a plus
  • Experience with Analytics, software development or statistical analysis a plus

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
