About the Role:

We are seeking a talented, analytical, and collaborative individual to join our People Team as a Workforce Analytics, Sr. Analyst. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining analytical resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, stakeholder management skills, and experience in building scalable solutions. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic planning and decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to gather and analyze HR data, including employee demographics, performance metrics, attrition rates, and engagement levels
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present key workforce metrics and trends to HR leadership, HR Business Partners, and other key stakeholders

  • Collaborate with HR business partners and other stakeholders to identify key business questions and develop analytical approaches to address them, ensuring we are addressing the key moments that matter

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, data integration, and optimization based on data-driven insights and best practices, ensuring data quality and integrity

  • Implements quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of HR data. Regularly review and audit data and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

  • Leads complex analytical efforts such as engagement or attrition correlational studies, workforce segmentation studies, DEIB analytics and trends.

  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in workforce analytics and recommend innovative approaches to enhance HR data capabilities

  • Approach and execute ad-hoc data requests creatively, identifying root cause needs and determine when discrete needs should be regular reports or dashboards

  • Translate data insights and communicate insights and recommendations effectively to a diverse audience, including Senior Leadership, HR Partners and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in HR Analytics, workforce planning or related fields

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages

  • Experience with HR systems and analytics platforms (e.g. Workday, Power BI, Glint)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Proficient with Workday Reporting and Microsoft Office (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Additional Information

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $76,500 to $117,100. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).

For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000 to $137,700. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment.Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment.Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
