The Senior Deskside Support Technician offers Tier 2 support to end users organization-wide or at designated locations. Responsibilities include installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading computer hardware, software, and peripherals for optimal workplace performance. Additionally, they may serve as the primary point of contact for IT infrastructure and application services at distribution centers, conducting proactive health checks on all site-consumed IT infrastructure and applications.

What You'll Do

  • Offers daily desktop, software, and peripheral support, conducting troubleshooting and root cause analysis independently.

  • Executes basic network resolutions such as patching and cabling, escalating complex issues promptly.

  • Develops operating instructions, maintains technical documentation, and delivers end-user instruction as required.

  • Assists with telecommunication troubleshooting and escalates issues as necessary.

  • Ensures adherence to standard incident reporting and management processes.

  • Enhances hardware and software utilization through user training and support.

  • Manages provisioning of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including Windows image deployment and initial setup.

  • Logs and resolves incidents/requests in the ticketing system, providing updates to stakeholders as necessary.

What You'll Need

  • 1-3 years of Deskside Support and Networking experience

  • Experience in coordinated IT services

  • Break-fix proficiency with various desktop hardware

  • Configured external peripherals like printers and scanners

  • Basic knowledge of audiovisual and telecommunications equipment

  • Capable of lifting equipment up to 45 pounds

  • Professional communication with customers at all levels

  • Flexible availability for varied work hours, including weekends and after hours
