Overview

The Strategic Pricing Analyst is primarily responsible for pricing proposals for a variety of opportunities, including Fortune 1000, other commercial companies, colleges, hospitals and various local state and federal government agencies. In this high-profile position, the Strategic Pricing Analyst works closely with Konica Minolta's branch / dealer sales channels to provide detailed price analysis to determine proper, account-specific pricing based on prevailing market and competitive environments.


Responsibilities

  • Extensive review and analysis of all incoming price requests

  • Provide centralized pricing support to the organization with ongoing pricing analytics that delivers timely and accurate information in order to support overall market, product, and objectives.

  • Prepare and present final financial pricing analysis for required approvals.

  • Maintain open and constant high-level interaction with field sales, upper management, leasing partners and various internal departments to obtain the information necessary to develop strategic pricing proposals.

  • Maintain established contracts by processing renewals, model adds/deletions

  • Creation of pricing proposals/contracts and other required documentation

  • Communication and review of pricing with management and field sales personnel.

  • Ensure documentation is accurate and properly presented for integrity


Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2-4 years professional experience in pricing, bid development, finance, sales or marketing

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) required; knowledge of SAP, a plus

  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with all departments within company

  • Knowledge of contract and leasing terms and conditions

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, firm deadlines in a busy environment

  • General knowledge of the Office Equipment Industry or Business-to-Business Bid process

  • Advanced organizational, problem solving, analytical and financial skills required
