Overview

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineering team to support various stages of product development, testing, and research. You will have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, learn from industry professionals, and make meaningful contributions to real-world projects.

Responsibilities
    Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems using CAD software
  • Collaborate with engineers to conduct analysis, simulations, and testing to optimize product performance and reliability.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve product design and manufacturability.
  • Conduct research on materials, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies relevant to mechanical engineering.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation: reports, specifications, and drawings.
  • Support prototype assembly, testing, and validation under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards in all aspects of work.
Required Experience/Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Academic background in mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools for mechanical design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with engineering principles and practices related to product development and manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior internship or project experience in mechanical engineering is a plus, but not required.

  • Physical ability to lift and carry computer equipment up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time.
  • Stay on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be capable of working in a high tempo and high traffic work environment.
