Job Description

Position Summary:

Coordinates and monitors projects using a combination of internal staff, consultants, and vendors from initiation through delivery. Ensures completion of all project targets and requirements on schedule and within budget. Works with all staff levels to define business requirements, develop cost benefit analyses, and to recommend and implement alternative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage projects throughout the lifecycle including design, development, testing, implementation, production, and reportin
  • Develop project estimates and detailed work plans. Estimate schedules, quality, and quantity of resources required to implement production projects. Gather required data to plan and assess the objectives, costs, design, performance, maintenance, goals, and scope of projects and specifications
  • Manage process research and development for new business processes and the improvement or modification of existing processes
  • Collaborate with business units to learn and understand their processes and technology needs. Coordinate the integration of office operations and information systems on an ongoing basis
  • Prepare business rule specifications to create and modify systems and programs.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews as needed. Conduct system and acceptance testing

Qualifications:

  • Complexity. Performs work that is substantially varied and complex. Works on problems and projects of diverse scope, which requires originality, ingenuity, and in-depth analysis.
  • Knowledge. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures. Has detailed knowledge of several areas within the function. May serve as lead to others.
  • Discretion. Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment involving complex tasks.
  • Supervision. Usually works with minimal supervision, conferring with supervisors on unusual matters. May be assisted by lower level individuals.
  • Experience. Fully competent professional level. Usually has approximately 5 - 9 years related experience. Typically, has Bachelor degree and may have significant progress toward post-degree
