As our next Head of Quality, reporting to our Head of Operations in Florence, KY, you will lead the local quality function, laboratory and systems, to ensure product quality and lead quality improvements, mindset and customer satisfaction at our Devon site.

You will work in Florence, KY.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead a local quality teams and manage talents.
  • Improve shop floor quality and technology guided by regional / global policy and implement local Vendor and Customer Quality programs aligned with global / regional policy.
  • Identify and lead opportunities for local QM improvement. Oversee local / regional projects and promote knowledge/best practices sharing.
  • Manage change processes relevant to job position guided by global policy.

Technical Skills

  • Good project management skills and use of the project management techniques.
  • Experience with relevant on site QIC, FC&A and Ops processes (such as Ingredient life cycle Mgmt, Vendor Quality, Customer Quality requirements and Formula management, Continuous improvement, Complaint, Issue and Crisis Mgmt, Industrialization, Audit and Change Management, relevant to assigned area(s) of activity.).
  • Broad knowledge on Givaudan's order fulfillment, brief management, Regulatory and innovation processes (IDDC), relevant to assigned area(s) of activity.
  • Experience with Givaudan's manufacturing technologies and product characteristics (such as liquids, spray drying, powder blending, process Flavors, JBC, Emulsions, separations, extractions), relevant to function (see Job description), relevant to assigned area(s) of activity.
  • Solid knowledge of Givaudan's main IT systems (such as Atlas, Athena, FPR, SAP, Compliance engine, PII, GSD, RMQ, QDMS, AVAP, ILM), relevant to assigned area(s) of activity.
  • Good understanding of Food Safety and Quality Systems (such as FSSC, AIB, ISO, GMP, GHP, HACCP) that are relevant to assigned area(s) of activity.
  • Responsible for limited range of processes affecting QIC and few partners, relevant to assigned area(s) of activity

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or business degree with technical experience.
  • Overall work experience of 7 to 10 years.
  • Function related experience of minimum 5 years of which at least 2 years in equivalent position.
