Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Customer Acceptance Manager (CAM) to join the FAL based in Mobile, AL
The Customer Acceptance Manager (CAM) is accountable for management and coordination of the Customer Presentation Program from FAL Start to Final Operational Testing (FOT). CAM is a core member of the Industrial/Customer Acceptance & Delivery (CAD) Multi-Functional Team (MFT) and shares management responsibilities with Customer Acceptance and Delivery Manager (CADM) during Aircraft Delivery.

Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your challengesManages and accompanies the customer on pre-selected Customer Presentations (inspections) throughout the assembly process. CAM is responsible for documenting perceived discrepancies found during these Customer Presentations in the proper electronic logbook (QLBs/CLBs), then for the proper handling with correct rework and/or answer, for Customer acceptance, and closure, along the FAL & Delivery phases.
Under direction of CADM, coordinates MFT for Delivery program to airline customers.
Responsible for soliciting airline customers feedback and providing accurate information for solutions as needed.
Accountable for tracking closures of any non-conformity, deviation, and ground rework; and coordinate jointly with Customer Aircraft Quality Manager, Delivery Transaction Manager, Production, Quality, Flight Operations, and supporting functions to ensure On-Time and On-Quality delivery
Support aircraft representative(s) during the presentation for customer management and support the customer to raise quality issues if required.
As aircraft risk manager, identify the "at risk" items and escalate them to the appropriate level.
Represents the voice of the customer, leads and controls the communication flow for all A/C technical related events for their assigned aircraft.
Ensures constructive relations with the customer through continuous communication consistent with fair handling customer expectations while protecting Airbus
Liaison with all Airbus Functions, Centers of Competence, Suppliers, and Engine/Nacelle manufacturers.
Preferred: College Degree
Minimum 4 years of experience in a technical aviation capacity.
Minimum of 4 years experience with airline customers / aircraft manufacturing.
Customer expectations & needs: Ability to understand customer's expectations. Ability to improve the customer relationship by actively listening and clarifying their needs, requirements and concerns. Ability to provide precise information to respond to customer needs and requirements.
Aircraft presentation coordination: Ability to use best and safe practices to accompany the customer within the production area to present or support the presentation made by aircraft representative(s), if requested, on behalf of the customer.
Ability to work in a multicultural context and to interact with people of different cultural backgrounds in a constructive manner to achieve commonly accepted results.
Safety Management System: General understanding of companies Safety Management System (SMS).
Must demonstrate proficiency in G-Suite
