Position Summary:

The academic programs that the Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing offers include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science, a Master of Science in Nursing Science, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing Science
Under the general supervision of the grant Principal Investigator at the Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing, provides high-level management of the NURSE-OC program. This program aims to address the Nursing Workforce Pipeline through Externships and Residencies in Orange County. The program seeks a talented and motivated individual with experience in project management, including managing program activities with a high degree of autonomy. This will include coordinating curriculum development and student placements, commitment agreements, running regular program meetings, and providing status updates. The successful candidate brings excellent communication skills, analytical skills for complex budgets and data, and the ability to coordinate complex schedules and work on multiple projects simultaneously with a wide range of nursing students, faculty, and staff, and campus as well as community partners. Uses advanced operational concepts and objectives to resolve highly complex issues. Regularly works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Primarily deals with programs and proposals with broad impact across the function, research initiative, program and / or organization. Develops and oversees the implementation of new programs and processes.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $81,900.00 - $99,050.00 (Annual Salary). The Full Salary Range for the salary grade this position is assigned to is $81,900.00 - $150,500.00 (Annual Salary).

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • Advanced knowledge of common organizational- or research-specific and other computer application programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and influence, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
  • Advanced project management skills.
