Description

Leidos is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The operations engineer will be part of the DevOps team that collaborates with the development, engineering and operations and maintenance (O&M) teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the system maintenance lifecycle.

Duties Include:

• Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security and scalability
• Troubleshooting and support resolving issues related to applications, deployment and operations
• Support the implementation and maintenance of version control systems, configuration management tools and other related technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree
• DevOps Tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Scripting/Automation Tools: Bash, Groovy, Python, Puppet
• AWS Platform Services: EC2, Cloud Formation, IAM, Secrets Manager, Lambda
• Monitoring Tools: Nagios, AWS CloudWatch
• Linux server configuration, support and troubleshooting

Desired Qualifications

• Databases: Oracle, DynamoDB
• Programming Languages: Java, Python, JavaScript
• Web Services: Apache Tomcat, Spring Boot
