What You'll Do
  • Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Work effectively in a team environment to promote productivity
  • Report all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions requiring maintenance or repair to the proper supervisor
  • Operating different types of tools, machinery and welding equipment
  • Inspect outgoing material for accuracy
  • Attend daily shift meetings to measure progress and obtain feedback.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
What You'll Need
  • Basic knowledge of polyolefin or thermoplastic melt extrusion and processing, preferably polypropylene, polyethylene, and PET resins
  • Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed
  • Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements
  • Must be able to work a 12 hour shift, which includes overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for duration of a shift, up to 12 hours; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
  • Ability quickly learn new tools and techniques independently
Your Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
