POSITION SUMMARYThe HR Administrative Assistant will perform broad, varied and often confidential responsibilities for our People Resources team such as preparing correspondences, company compliance tasks, and project work in support of strategic initiatives.

This role will sit at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform administrative duties requiring considerable judgment with minimal supervision
  • Perform project management duties for special projects to support strategic initiatives
  • Oversee completion of various dashboards and metrics
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and presentations
  • Compose, perform, and administer duties that support strategic initiatives, department programs, policies, and practices
  • Schedule meetings, distribute documentation, arrange travel, and coordinate catering
  • Assist in monitoring the department budget to ensure team is accountable to financial commitments in carrying out their respective business roles, including balancing monthly credit card statements with invoices, and researching and resolving any discrepancies in monthly expenditures.
  • Administer I-9 verification and validation processes, including daily monitoring and reverification.
  • Partner with third parties for unemployment and leave of absence administration and monitoring
  • Support Compliance team with the Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) and annual compliance reporting.
  • Periodically support onboarding and new hire orientation.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Formal education or experience equivalent to a high school graduate plus 5 years of administrative/office experience
  • Proficient or advanced level of experience with multiple software programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and the ability to learn additional software systems such as PowerBI
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for new, creative, and innovate solutions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication, including proper use of English, grammar and punctuation in business correspondence
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results and follow through on commitments
  • Possess high integrity, loyalty, compassion, and maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information
  • Ability to project a positive image to customers
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
