Overview

We are seeking a Landscape Architect / Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience to join our Landscape Architecture team in the West Palm Beach, FL office.

In this position you will work collaboratively with our Landscape Studio Manager and Senior Designers and oversee the development of landscape deliverables on a mix of public and private projects. Projects will range from public plazas and parks as well as private development projects ranging from residential, commercial and industrial projects. Clients include municipalities, state agencies, private developers, property owners, national homebuilders, and industrial distributors.

Responsibilities
    Development of landscape plan packages; including landscape, hard-scape, landscape lighting and irrigation plans from concept through construction
  • Provide quality control review of landscape deliverables prior to sign/sealing the deliverables
  • Development of project construction cost estimates
  • Coordination with clients and sub-consultants and act as liaison to government agencies
  • Internal coordination with planning and engineering teams
  • Attend public meetings and community outreach meetings
  • Work with Studio Manager to maintain project schedules and budgets
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related design profession from an accredited university
  • Demonstrated 10+ years in progressively responsible design experience
  • Registered as a landscape architect with the State of Texas
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Demonstrates reliable understanding of the relationship between design and constructibility
  • PMP - Project Manager Professional preferred
  • Experience using computer software programs including SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator is a plus
  • Proficiency in preparing hand drawn sketches, graphics and illustrations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write business correspondence and presentations
  • Ability to work as a team, or independently
  • Night and weekend work may be required
  • Travel to other office locations may be required
