The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG is hiring for an Assistant Program Manager.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Program Manager for Executive Support will support the SLCM-N PM in leading the Executive Support and Acquisition Program Coordination Team for the Sea-Launched Cruise Missile Nuclear (SLCM-N) program.

    Lead and oversee multiple task areas simultaneously with minimal oversight including project time, cost, and client relationships.
  • Work closely with clients, understand their priorities, and translate those into tasks for assignment to staff.
  • Assign tasks and review work of task leads for quality and consistency.
  • Generate required CDRLs - Manage Contract Requirements to ensure all required deliverables are provided on time, with high quality, and meet client requirements.
  • Provide task prioritization and guidance to staff and manage personnel task assignments to ensure proper contract execution and alignment of tasks to client needs and allocated budgets.
  • Supervise the development and execution of project plans; provide guidance to project leads on best practices to lead large and small projects.
  • Manage quality control plans and employ various quality concepts depending upon the complexity of the project or product.
  • Assess employee strengths and weaknesses and identify tasking and professional training to grow the former while minimizing the latter.
  • Shape current and future tasks for staff.
  • Support management on administrative data calls and corporate updates as required.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science or Business Administration.
  • Current TOP SECRET DoD Security Clearance.
  • 15+ years of professional experience executing project leadership roles.
  • DAWIA Level II Certified.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting DoD acquisition programs.
  • 5+ years of experience working with and supporting Flag or Executive Level personnel.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Congressional/Legislative Affairs work.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in risk management processes.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.
