The Board of Directors of Friends of Anacostia Park seeks a dynamic and emotionally intelligent leader to serve as its Executive Director. This individual is deeply connected to the organization's mission to enrich the lives of DC residents by preserving Anacostia Park and connecting surrounding communities to its restoration. 

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in fundraising, organization and staff management, fostering community engagement and building community partnerships. They will develop long-term strategies, cultivate financial support, ensure effective and meaningful programming and nurture key partnerships and relationships. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS  
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 annually, with an anticipated starting salary dependent upon the location, qualifications and experience of the hired candidate. In addition, Friends of Anacostia Park offers a comprehensive benefits package. 

LOCATION 
Friends of Anacostia Park operates a hybrid work environment requiring 2-3 days in the Washington, D.C.-based office.
