SUMMARY
The Process Engineer under the leadership of the Manager, Engineering will be responsible for driving implementation of continuous improvement principles throughout the VPC and/ or PDC. Developing, maintaining, and controlling all production processes throughout the VPC and PDC. Maintaining open lines of communication with line and staff members to monitor and report progress of key initiatives. Presenting opportunities, data/statistical analysis, observations, and recommendations to the VPC and/or PDC leadership and contribute to strategic and operational decisions involving process redesigns, equipment modifications, and tooling changes. Maintaining an awareness of leading-edge technology trends and capabilities and assists leadership team in developing future value stream state maps and site vision.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university and 5-8 years of operations experience, including but not limited to auditing, operations analysis, and successful implementation of performance enhancement initiatives.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 10% of the time and on a domestic basis).
