General Information:

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Planning & SIOP Supervisor to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities related to planning and inventory control within the factory. You will also implement actions to improve effectiveness within the planning structure to increase customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead a group of planners to ensure that customer needs are met

• Implement new or improved planning processes to improve efficiency and performance
• Work with Planning & Fulfillment Manager to develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations
• Forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products

• Document physical supply chain processes such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows
• *Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes and predict effect on planning activities

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or closely related field
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing setting
• Experience using SAP strongly preferred
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
