Job Description

Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day Human Resources area, providing administrative support to the human resources department. Assist with recruitment, reporting, record maintenance, and processing of temporary, hourly and salary payroll processing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources and management team.
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, policies, benefits, and attendance.
  • Process payroll by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct employee new hire orientation and assign photo id badges.
  • Build relationships with external staffing agencies to recruit for hourly roles.
  • Preparing and running data-driven reports, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Enters purchase orders in IQMS to purchase employee uniforms, stocks uniforms, and distributes to new hires
  • Serves on the Employee Activities Committee

Education/ Previous Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Must be able to maintain a high standard of confidentiality and high levels of discretion and sensitivity.
  • Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with HR software.
  • Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Process-driven; proven analytic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work autonomously and in team environment
