Responsibilities

Implements, tests, and operates advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture. Performs on-going security testing and code review to improve software security. Troubleshoots and debugs issues that arise. Provides engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities. Contributes to all levels of the architecture and maintains technical documentation. Consults team members on secure coding practices. Develops a familiarity with new tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

    Maintenance, management, and administration of the security toolset.
  • Research, testing, and secure configuration of new hardware/software to meet constantly evolving cyber assessment needs.
  • Work with security teams to prevent, detect, contain, and eradicate cyber threats through monitoring, intrusion detection, and protective security services.
  • Understand, adhere to, and implement overall cyber security and configuration policies and procedures in alignment with industry standard security compliance framework.
  • Perform Data Analysis and assessment of targeted metrics to assess security postures and brief data, as needed, to partners and senior leaders.
  • Provide in-depth analysis on vulnerabilities to leadership including information such as: vulnerability summary, risk assessment, and potential mitigating actions, and recommendations to improve security compliance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • An active SECRET or the ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
  • 6 years of experience required, Bachelor's degree with 2 - 4, or Master's with 0 - 2 years of experience.
  • Experience with security tools, for example Palo Alto firewalls and Splunk, for networks, operational services, a Security Operations Center (SOC), or a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT),
  • Must possess basic knowledge of networking and Certified SOC Analyst (CSA) designation by the EC-Council.
  • Expertise with any of the following Sec Ops tools: MTIPS, E3a, CASB, Qualys, Palo Alto Firewall, Palo Alto Panorama, Trellix, ForeScout CounterAct, HoneyPots, Google DLP, Entrust Identity Guard, Infoblox, KeePass, McAfee Antivirus, McAfee EPolicy Orchestrator, Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), RSA token, RSA Archer, SailPoint, Skybox, Splunk, Syslog, Tenable Nessus, Thales, Valimail Enforce, VMWare AirWatch, Zimperium, EntryPoint, Tanium

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
