Senior Security Installation Technician
Annapolis, MD
MUST:
Experienced Senior Installation Technician
5+ years as a security system installation engineer/technician, field service preferred
3+ years with field installation experience utilizing DSC (digital security controls) brand security systems and products
Ability to work on rotating "on-call" service schedule Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
Assist in training and evaluation of all technician staff including lead level technicians
Excellent skills with desktop and mobile computing
Ability to use hand and power tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
DUTIES:
Works with Lead Installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls
Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned
Advanced networking/data system install and setup
Strong programming of advanced security systems
Advanced troubleshooting of simple and complex security systems
Advanced understanding of multi-room systems and setup
Advanced understanding of security system programming and design
