Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced eLearning Instructional Designer contractor to support our Instructional Design team to bring an exciting certification program to market. This role will be temporary through December 2024 with the potential to grow into a permanent position. There is flexibility for hours to shift from part- to full-time. This is a remote position. The Instructional Designer position is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of effective learning solutions. This position creates e-learning courses, videos, and graphic design elements for use in an LMS-hosted on-demand set of courses.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality eLearning modules in partnership with Instructional Designers and SMEs
  • Produce high-quality eLearning videos in partnership with Instructional Designers and SMEs
  • Partner with LMS team to deploy modules on company's LMS
  • Utilize multimedia tools like audio, video, and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
  • Conduct thorough testing and revisions to ensure the functionality and effectiveness of eLearning.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an eLearning Instructional Designer
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering engaging online training programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience in developing eLearning modules using industry-standard authoring tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • An experienced Instructional Designer.
  • Highly competent producing eLearning packages with eLearning authoring software, specifically Lectora.
  • Highly competent producing eLearning videos using Camtasia, Premiere Pro, or Vyond.
  • Competent using Creative Suite.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
