JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Executive Director, our Director of Sales and Marketing plays a pivotal role in the growth of our organization. This role is responsible for driving sales ensuring we meet and exceed our monthly objectives for move-ins and net gains, and in maintaining optimal occupancy rates. This dynamic leader represents our core values in growing our community, impacting the lives of residents and upholding the principles that make Front Porch a leader in senior living.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

. Additional duties include, but are not limited to following:

* Lead the sales and marketing teams at the community effectively and respectfully.

* Provide quality Customer Service and maintain a positive image of the community to residents, families, co-workers and vendors

* Manage all aspects of the Sales and Marketing Department; including but not limited to all department budgets, sales activity goals, sales pipeline and funnel, prospect relations, and more.

* Maintain accommodation inventory and tracks accommodation occupancy and fee changes in accordance with the community budget/strategic plan.

* Participate in weekend call or tour coverage in staff rotation as needed.

* Act as individual contributor to schedule, organize, and conduct tours with prospective resident of independent and assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing, as needed.

* Coordinate with other departments including dining, housekeeping, activities, wellness and other key staff members to successfully execute on-campus marketing events.

* Create, plan and implement events (with sales and marketing staff locally) to bring in prospective residents, current leads and professionals such as, but not limited to: seminars, speakers, themed events, and family nights

* Identify, generate and nurture local referral sources in the local community through interfacing and networking with hospital discharge planners, clinicians, medical centers, professional organizations and other key healthcare providers and ancillary professionals.

* Maintain clear lines of communication with Sales and Marketing Dept. at corporate level

* Manage implementation and use of sales toolbox.

* Oversee move-in coordination with support staff.

* Maintain a robust and qualitative wait list.

* Oversee FY planning

* Maintain Executive Director informed of all sales activity on a regular basis and develop relationship that drives the growth of the community

* Work closely with the Executive Director and VP, Sales & Marketing in development and implementation of the annual marketing plan

* Oversee accuracy of lead records and data in CRM regularly.

* Manages execution of marketing plan at the local level to ensure events, advertising, promotional and public relations and community relations opportunities are activated.

* Responsible for management, quality and accuracy of all inquiry call-backs, tours, and applications for prospective residents

* Responsible for community outreach, local competitive market analysis, external strategies and market rates.

* Regularly review market rates with Executive Director to maintain competitiveness.

* Initiate team building and goal setting. Ensures an environment of positive teamwork and trust.

* Communicate any special needs of the incoming resident to the appropriate personnel and work closely with Environmental Services and Maintenance departments as accommodations get prepared for new residents.

* Walk through the community with an eye for cleanliness and recognizes and reports all repair and housekeeping issues.

* Interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, residents, family members, etc.

* Attend and participates in the weekly and/or monthly committee and staff meetings assigned by Executive Director.

* Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include supervise Sales and Marketing staff, interview, accept and train volunteers; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

* Follow and ensures department safety standards, practice body mechanic techniques and participate in campus-wide safety programs.

* Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner. Wears PPE/safety equipment as required for the job. Report any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor. Follows highest standards of cleanliness.

* Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS

* Passion for serving seniors

* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college or university preferred

* 5 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required

* Minimum 5 years' experience in sales.

* Senior living, senior housing, hospitality, geriatric experience or other related healthcare environment required.

* Must have previous experience managing two or more subordinates

* Must have excellent communication (written and oral) skills in English in order to communicate with employees, residents and prospects.

* Must have managerial experience with managing budgets, understanding regulatory and technical information.

* Must have above average skills with data sharing (external and internal stakeholders), management, analysis and aggregation.

* Must have experience with CRM systems and metrics

* Experience with a competitive outside and inside sales environment

* Ability to think critically.

* Self-motivated, organized, driven and able to successfully advance sales.
