SALARY RANGE: $117,377 - 166,400 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
Nokia of America Corporation, OSS Solution Engineer, (Multiple Positions), Dallas TX. Perform installation and commissioning of network management systems such as NetAct and NetAct cloud. Support NetAct software upgrades and integrate Nokia NetAct to other Network elements. Create and deliver Methods of Procedures (M.O.P) to customer. Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate network systems. Work on issues encountered during deployment and communicate update to key stakeholders. Troubleshoot issues, conduct knowledge bases, and determine the need for technical escalations. Provide on-site support for implementation and integration of NetAct in customer networks. Implement proactive measures to address customer network concerns as appropriate. Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption. Participate in customer and internal meetings. Maintain lab servers to proper hardware, software, and firmware levels for use in testing and problem-solving scenarios. Adhere to customer response times per Service Level Agreements. #LI-DNI
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 5 years of post-Bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following: 3G/4G/5G networks; Operating System Administration including HP Unix and Red Hat Linux.
Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following: Configuration Management, Performance management, and Fault Management tools.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Oracle Database Administration; Configuration routers and switches; HP C7000 Blade and EMC SAN Systems; and Communication Protocols, including SNMP and 3GPP.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Installing, commissioning and upgrading Network Management systems; and testing in lab environment.
Domestic travel required up to 10%.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted per business need.
