Job Description
Sarepta is seeking an experienced psychometrician to join our Patient Centered Outcomes Research Team. As a psychometrician in this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and validating patient-reported outcomes measures and assessment tools to evaluate the impact of our portfolio of products on patients' outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of improving patient care through evidence-based research.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and implement psychometric assessments and patient-reported outcome measures to evaluate the effects of our products on patients' health related quality of life (HRQoL), treatment efficacy and overall health outcomes.
  • Conduct psychometric evaluations and statistical analyses to ensure reliability, validity, and sensitivity of health outcome measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate patient-reported outcomes into clinical trials.
  • Interpret and communicate assessment results to variety of internal and external stakeholders, providing insights into patient experiences, treatment efficacy and HRQoL.
  • Stay updated on regulatory guidelines and industry standards related to patient-centered research and psychometrics.
  • Contribute to development of research protocols, study designs and data collection methodologies that incorporate psychometric principles.
  • Support dissemination of research findings through publications, presentations, and collaborations with external partners, including clinicians, research organizations and patients.

Desired Education and Skills:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Psychometrics, Social Sciences, Outcomes Research, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a related role, including demonstrated experience with PRO/COA development and implementation in a consulting and/or pharmaceutical company environment.
  • Expertise in psychometric and statistical analyses techniques, including factor analysis, and item response theory.
  • Knowledge of health outcomes research methodologies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in patient-centered outcomes assessment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta's facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.

The targeted salary range for this position is $156,000 - $195,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta's compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
