Job Description Summary

In the role of Senior Manager, Talent & Culture you will make a substantial impact. Your mission is to build and collaborate closely across our teams to design programs that enhance a culture of continuous feedback, enable leaders with actionable insights, and foster continuous growth and development of our talent.

This is a hybrid position with an in-office requirement of 3 days per week at our Columbia, MD office.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Senior Director, Talent Management and Organization Development, aligning Talent & Culture strategies with meeting functional and company objectives.
  • Own and update the performance management process by creating agile, real-time solutions that facilitate a culture of continuous feedback and empowered managers.
  • Champion talent management initiatives that inspire and cultivate employee growth, focusing on talent identification, development, and retention.
  • Spearhead efforts in talent review, calibration, succession planning, career pathways, and individual development plans (IDPs) to promote internal mobility to build a dynamic and empowered workforce.
  • Optimize organizational design for scalability, leading initiatives that ensure our structure and workforce planning to meet current and future challenges.
  • Develop and implement key Talent & Culture metrics and analytics dashboards to enable decision-making, regularly delivering actionable insights to leadership.
  • Utilize employee engagement data to identify opportunities and design targeted talent initiatives, driving strategic action planning within business units.
  • Create and implement high potential programs and learning journeys to develop future leaders.
  • Evolve the preboarding, new hire orientation, onboarding and offboarding policies, procedures and activities in partnership with People Operations, Learning & Development (L&D) and Talent Acquisition.
  • Partner with People Operations to create Talent& Culture policies to foster a strong organizational culture, embedding values and practices that promote engagement, human transformation, and employee well-being.
  • Leverages systems and technology to increase efficiency and productivity of talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication between employees, management, and executives.
  • Prepares and conducts presentations to staff and leadership to increase understanding and increase buy in of talent and culture initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the L&D, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition to enhance employee experience and organization effectiveness.
  • Act as a key driver in improving the employee experience, implementing initiatives that foster a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Manages operational budget for area of responsibility and where appropriate manages relationship with external consultants and vendors.
  • Support organizational change initiatives with change management principles to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant HR experience; SHRM-SCP, SPHR preferred.
  • Workday experience a plus.
  • Proven expertise in organizational design, performance management, and workforce planning, with a strong ability to lead change and scalability initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with experience in HR metrics, analytics dashboards, and utilizing engagement data for strategic action planning.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills, capable of building relationships across all organizational levels and collaborating effectively with L&D, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Solid background in implementing change management principles, ensuring compliance and adoption of new policies and programs.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and present to all levels of the organization.
  • Must be a team player willing and ready to support the team and serve as a trusted advisor.

Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family.

The base salary for this role is $110,000 to $130,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
