This position will manage the timeline and progress of key internal processes to ensure that both internal and external customer expectations are met in terms of cost, timing and quality. Leads and coordinates program activities with a cross-functional team which will include: Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Operations and other disciplines as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • This position is responsible for coordinating and helping to lead our efforts in our facility for growth, recruitment, training, capital planning, and operational excellence.
  • This position will manage programs by leading cross functional teams across multiple plant departments and may have direct supervision responsibilities. The incumbent must direct the activities of others, both internal and external to the company, to support programs without reporting authority. This position will frequently interact with the various functions, including production, purchasing, engineering, and quality.
  • The Project Leader is assigned at the beginning of a phase gate process and will oversee the program from initiation to internal customer hand over. They facilitate the phase gate process by following utilizing our current tools and developing new tools where appropriate. This includes the development of a timing plan. The plan will be communicated both internally and externally on a regular basis. The Project Leader would monitor progress against the plan and the original business case and take actions as necessary to assure a successful program launch.
  • The Project Leader will be the key point of contact in our RB60 initiative to ensure clear goals, timelines, and plant efficiencies are met in collaboration with key plant personnel.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years experience in a project management role
  • Bachelor's degree required (Engineering or businesspreferred)
  • Manufacturing experience
  • HVAC experience is a plus
  • Requires good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as abilities in team leadership, problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution, and quality planning. May require supervisory skills if responsible for direct reports. Familiarity in the use of program management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar.
