Position Overview

Stanley is seeking a Senior Warranty Manager to grow and mature the Warranty function. Working within the Quality department, this role will develop a long term strategy and manage a global network, which includes feedback from direct customers distributors and dealers. You will also manage the product category warranty policy.


What You'll Do

  • Use expertise and strong judgement to scope, develop and drive Stanley warranty vision and strategy globally, partnering across regions to understand unique market challenges and opportunities.
  • Establish and implement a warranty policy for each product category that drives solutions for customers and company.
  • Create individual policies and end-to-end warranty processes for all product categories that enable scale and efficiencies. Evaluate process effectiveness and adoption and design process improvement mechanisms.
  • Lead warranty processes, claims, and daily warranty operations. Meet the needs of today while building to scale for future business growth.
  • Create Warranty metrics, insights and recommendations. Share with partner teams and senior leaders to drive decision-making.
  • Take ownership and accountability for warranty data analysis and communication with cross functional teams to make data driven decisions. Act as the leader of warranty themes and key learnings and share with internal teams.
  • Research and identify opportunities and strategies for efficient warranty claims processing; lead audits to ensure warranty and standard compliance and oversee the actioning of findings, ensuring efficient and effective resolution.
  • Drive alignment of warranty strategy with customer service, quality assurance, and product development teams. Work collaboratively to identify and resolve recurring issues.

  • Ambitious. Proactive and able to define and implement projects independently; capable of designing creative solutions to strategic and tactical challenges
  • Communicator. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above in any science related field.
  • 8+ years of related experience preferred.
  • 6+ years running warranty and associated business systems
  • Proficiency in IT systems and processes including Microsoft Office programs


Salary Range

$130,000-150,000

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
