Thermal Test Technician
Looking for a junior thermal tester to test and troubleshoot consumer electronics in a hardware R&D lab environment. This person should have an understanding of hardware evaluation methodologies, including development of test cases/suites, performance monitoring, and data analysis.

Required:
* Experience with thermal testing specifically on consumer electronics in an R&D lab environment.
* Experience with thermal chambers, thermocouples, thermal meters, power supplies, etc.
* Experience setting up tests and instrumentation for data collection & reporting.
* Experience creating unit test plans.
* Comfortable entering command sequences (adb, python) and modifying test scripts.
* Work from schematics, CAD drawings, rough engineering drawings and/or verbal instruction.
* Fine motor skills for assembling and disassembling prototypes, and applying thermocouples.
* Appropriately select the proper test equipment that shall be utilized for the particular test that will need to be performed.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google software suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Meet).
* Be flexible enough to perform tests in multiple testing environments that may involve electrical, mechanical, thermal, etc.
* Proactive team player with good follow-through and the ability to accept critical feedback, working on tasks semi-autonomously after some training and experience.

Pluses:
* Strong theoretical background in heat transfer and electrical circuits.
* Strong skill in data collection and analysis scripting - adb, Python, LabVIEW.
* Experience with other mechanical lab work, such as Instron, inspection, drop tower, machine shop equipment, and strain gages.
* Experience with NX CAD software.
