Systems/Software Integration Engineer
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Analytics, or Information
  • 3+ years' experience IM/IT System/Software implementation, maintenance, and analysis
  • Experience in IM/IT requirements gathering capabilities for the database and analytical dashboard development, architecture, engineering, and systems operations services.
  • Experience in developing IT framework, technology procedures, and practices.
  • Experience in technical vision and roadmaps for new innovative technology supporting services and solutions, and implementation of technology strategies.
  • Working knowledge of current and future information systems' concepts, doctrines, methods, policies, and issues of significant impact on supporting new approaches/applications, and making recommendations on feasibility, compatibility with existing architectures, facilities, equipment, and probable long-term effects
  • Experience in preparing presentations, and process flow methodologies.
  • Experience using PPBE and IT System Rationalization efforts.

Duties:
  • Assists ARRC Team in planning, programming, program evaluation, strategic planning activities and capability support to enhance with the assessment of DHP, OMA, OSD capability and relatable requirements to positively impact the strategic direction of military medicine.
  • Create and maintain databases and analytics utilized for strategic and business planning efforts, decision-making and improvement opportunities to include performing ad hoc queries and analysis, providing data management, providing system administration, training and functional support, designing and developing documentation supporting performance monitoring.
  • Administers the day-to-day ARRC-P database, Army Readiness Coordination - Medical Dashboard (ARC-MD) and ARRC-T operation and maintenance in a complex environment that requires organization and coordination for various Army Headquarters, MEDCOM, and Defense Health Headquarters (DHA) entities. Manages and monitors overall system performance. Performs regular checks to ensure data/information flow from multiple organizations worldwide.
  • Experience and ability to perform operational research, economic analysis, and data visualization.
  • Resolves physical and logical issues relating to hardware and software associated with ARC-MD and ARRC-T.
  • Leads the application of analytic techniques and helps define project objectives and strategic direction. Resolve complex problems, which require in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles. Analyzes acquisition data, formulates conclusions and recommendations, designs, and develops materials and evaluates effectiveness in accordance with stated guidelines, specifications, and models.
  • Presents findings of analyses of specific strategic and operational issues as requested. Conducts research, data gathering, and technical reviews. Produces written deliverables to include reports, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, formal process mapping, technical design, system testing and implementation activities.
  • Provide data retrieval from the data systems to support forecasting of Army Medical Readiness requirements resourcing and operations. The scope of the data retrieved, analysis of data, and timelines for completion shall be submitted to the program manager.
  • Troubleshoot issues in reports related to data. Assimilates, integrates, and interfaces technical knowledge with business/system requirements.
