Our facility in Billerica, Massachusettsis located in the metropolitan Boston area and specializes in the designand manufacturing of advanced photonics products based on MEMS and other micro-scale optical devices. Our unique technology enables the highest system performance in the most compact and cost-effective formats in a variety of applications. Responsibilities:
  • Manages and processes bi-weekly US payroll;
  • Manage monthly billing for employees on leave of absence or short-term disability;
  • Resolve tax filing issues and discrepancies;
  • Review and process employee data changes within UKG Pro;
  • Maintain US employee data in UKG Pro; this includes new hires, rehires, promotions, merit adjustments, terminations, etc;
  • Monitor US Payroll inbox daily and respond to all inquiries in a timely manner;
  • Run and distribute reports as requested (both scheduled report needs and ad hoc reports);
  • Respond to employee verification requests, both written and verbal;
  • Respond and processes all state and federal wage requests and garnishments as notices are received.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in HR, Finance, Business or other relevant field preferred;
  • Ability to be discrete with sensitive information and keep all information confidential;
  • 2 to 4 years of Payroll and/or HR Admin experience a must;
  • Advanced use of MS Excel; proficient use of MS Word;
  • Ability to accurately interpret and apply policies, procedures and laws to resolve administrative issues;
  • Familiarity with payroll compliance;
  • Knowledge of UKG HCM and Cognos preferred;
  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central preferred;
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent oral and written communication;
  • Strong attention to detail.
