Job Description

Background


ECHO is seeking Employment Support Specialists to provide care and support to adults with disabilities. The Employment Support Specialists assist ECHO participants in reaching their personal goals and optimal level of success.


ECHO's mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their optimal level of personal, social and economic success. ECHO is a nonprofit that offers lifelong support for adults with disabilities. We provide skill building, job placement, day support and transportation. Our services empower individuals to be active members of the community.


Job Duties

Provide supervision and care for ECHO participants including, but not limited to:

  • Understand and implement person-centered individual
  • Prepares and maintains clinical documentation
  • Manage ECHO participant's integration into host company's workforce and their work hours
  • Ensure health and safety of ECHO participants as dictated by their person-centered plans, individualized protocols and
  • Crisis intervention as needed
  • Embrace and support ECHO's core values: Enthusiasm, Trust, Integrity, Compassion, Respect, Innovation and Courage
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and/or directly related work experience
  • Considerable experience in vocational and/or day support training of persons with disabilities
  • Must possess valid driver's license and driving record meeting insurance requirements
