CORPORATE CONTROLLER (VP) - SaaS Company

Now recruiting on behalf of a global tech company for an experienced Corporate Controller. The company is in high growth mode, is growing both organically and through acquisitions, and is backed by private equity investors. They have a high caliber leadership team and this is an outstanding opportunity for a proven Accounting leader to continue to develop and mentor talent, put in place the right processes for scalable growth, and drive ongoing transformation. The company has a mostly remote work environment and occasional travel may be required.

Note- seeking candidates based in East or Central time zones

The Corporate Controller will lead the company's global accounting team (35-45 staff) and will play a key role in senior leadership and strategic planning. The scope of the role will include: developing best in class processes/talent, managing external audit and tax relationships, GAAP / IFRS compliance, technical accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, transactional accounting, accounting for acquisition integrations, driving process improvements, compliance/internal controls, and position the function for scalable growth.

The right candidate for this Corporate Controller opportunity will have:
  • CPA designation; Master's in Accounting
  • Big 4 audit experience
  • SaaS/Software/Tech industry experience required
  • Experience leading a corporate accounting team at the Controller level
  • Experience in a publicly traded company
  • Prior experience working in PE-backed organization strongly preferred
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • International accounting experience
  • Track record of successfully building best-in-class teams of at least 20 staff
