THE ROLE

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for providing input to and overseeing MFS' global recruitment, talent acquisition and global mobility strategies (both the internal and external marketplace). Responsible for developing, implementing and measuring highly effective strategic talent acquisition plans, sourcing and attracting top-tier candidates, and building a strong talent pipeline. In partnership with senior leaders, responsible for contextualizing workforce insights, candidate/employee sentiment, and market research to embed diverse and inclusive hiring practices throughout the enterprise. Responsible for developing diverse hiring programs from campus through early career and mid/senior level in alignment with corporate strategy. A key member of the Talent Management leadership team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support the overall business strategy by developing, planning and implementing the overall global Talent Acquisition plans and processes collaborating with the Investment recruiting team.
  • Responsible for MFS' employment brand strategy execution and the integration of the employee value proposition (EVP) through the platform of Talent Acquisition by fostering a strong partnership with Marketing stakeholders.
  • Responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a global team of Talent Acquisition (excluding Investments) and Global Mobility team members to partner and consult as talent advisors across the organization.
  • Collaborate and partner with DEI team to develop and implement creative networking, professional organization and college recruiting strategies and programs that result in a broad and diverse applicant and candidate pools.
  • Oversee and evaluate the full cycle recruiting process from sourcing to onboarding. Build effective working relationships with a strong understanding of business strategy and priorities; provide timely, and appropriate level of support and feedback to hiring managers and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Responsible for creating an exceptional experience for the candidate/new hire/hiring manager at each step of the recruitment process, collaborating with other HR COEs and organization leaders to assure a smooth orientation handoff from talent acquisition to the hiring teams.
  • Develop appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms, service-level agreements and other planning and measurement tools to build accountability and measure results, impact and cost-effectiveness of the hiring process and talent acquisition team. Partner with People Analytics to utilize insights to continuously improve the recruitment experience for all stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods based on the available role, industry expertise, regional complexities and the needs of the organization. Partner with leadership teams and staff to drive performance and change into the recruiting process ensuring development, selection and retention of top candidates.
  • Leverage technology to evaluate processes, and drive change and continuous improvement of the sourcing, recruitment and hiring processes to enhance the recruitment, employment and hiring experience for applicants and candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulation and company policies. Responsible for the management and reporting of all federal programs including oversight of affirmative action goals and EEOC guidelines.
  • Responsible for collaborating with key leaders and stakeholders on workforce planning initiatives, organizational structure and design, and assessing the feasibility and utilization of a contingent workforce to support organization business strategy and goals.
  • Oversee the strategic development and implementation of career networking events, career fair schedules and participation, to build MFS' employment brand with key colleges, universities, and professional organizations.
  • Identify and build strong relationships with external vendors to enhance and improve the overall applicant and candidate experience.
  • Lead the strategy and development, implementation and success metrics of the co-op, Rotational Development Program, summer internship non MBA) and similar programs to attract and convert key mid and entry level talent
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8 to 12 + years of full cycle corporate recruiting experience. 5+ years of experience leading and evaluating a team of corporate or agency recruiters supporting multiple lines of business, and recruiting entry level, professional and executive level staff.
  • Strong selection and interviewing skills and ability to identify and source strong talent.
  • Proven creative ability in sourcing candidates in Financial Services is an asset.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, inter-personal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience.
  • Excellent vendor management skills related to the recruitment and employment process.
  • Proficient technology and data analytic skills including Microsoft Office suite, Workday
  • Prior enterprise ATS implementation/experience.
