The Senior Director, Systems and Process Management in the Finance department is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the efficiency of systems, processes, and technology applications within Finance. This position is pivotal in ensuring efficient and effective processes, partnering with IT to envision, scope, and complete finance-driven IT projects, and leveraging technology to optimize the Finance function.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Finance team's primary business contact with the IT organization, ensuring that project business requirements are properly documented and effectively and accurately communicated to IT

  • Work with the Finance ERP Product Owner and Finance Leadership to collaborate on a roadmap, to enhance the overall Finance organization's efficiency and improve data accuracy.

  • Partner with Finance team leadership to Identify and prioritize key opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate across Finance teams Business Analysts, and multiple Product Owners to identify opportunities for process improvements and work with Business Analysts to articulate business requirements to enhance systems and operational effectiveness.

  • Implement data-driven decisions through the development of actionable reporting. Provide direction and manage the relationship between Finance and data/reporting teams.

  • Establish scalable process and system strategies that align with business goals and support the evolving needs of the Finance department.

  • Provide strategic input to senior leadership on technology investments and process enhancements to drive continuous improvement, and represent the Finance department from a systems and process perspective.

  • Partner with Finance leadership to develop, communicate, and implement a multi-year strategy to drive long-term efficiency and effectiveness within the Finance.

Basic Qualifications of the Business Processes Senior Director:

  • 8+ years of experience in systems support and process management, with a focus on accounting and finance.

  • 4+ years experience in driving technical improvements in an ERP environment

  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and implementing technology solutions in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, systems, and industry best practices.

  • Ability to think strategically and align systems and processes with broader business objectives.

  • Problem solver with the ability to be hands-on when needed.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience creating project documentation, including process maps, business requirements, and detailed user stories

  • Experience with user acceptance testing, training, and change management.

  • Strong understanding of Data and corresponding experience working with business data structures leveraging Excel, Tableau or related applications.

  • Experience in driving efficiency and insights through Data Analytics, Automation and AI.

Preferred Qualifications of the Business Processes Senior Director:

  • Advanced degree (MS, MBA or similar) in Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with internal business applications such as Salesforce, Netsuite, Workday, or related SaaS platforms.

  • Familiarity with Project management and Scrum methodologies.

The gross annualized salary range for this role is $180,000 - $190,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
