Join the UCLA Health West Valley team as a Patient Registration Specialist! You'll be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring accurate and efficient registration processes. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and obtaining necessary signatures. Your professionalism and attention to detail will ensure a smooth experience for patients and their families while adhering to established standards and procedures.


Salary Range: $37.10/hr

Qualifications

1. Education/Certificates/Licenses:. At least one year of registration experience preferred.

2. Language: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

3. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Communication - communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. Customer orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations. Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties. PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in PC applications as required. Policies & Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems. Basic skills - able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately.
