CHIEF CLINICAL OFFICER POSITION SUMMARY:

Here at BridgePoint, the CCO - RN is a key part of our clinical leadership team. The Chief Clinical Officer RN directs and coordinates functions and activities of the nursing department and other assigned clinical operation departments. The CCO - RN will consult with and advise the Chief Executive Officer on the general operation of the hospital. This CCO RN role will develop nursing and clinical department's goals, objectives, and standards of performance, policies and procedures. The Chief Clinical Officer RN will also organize nursing and clinical departments according to administrative and nursing service guidelines; ensure compliance with legal, organizational, and medical staff standards. The CCO - RN has authority and responsibility for establishing, directing, and implementing the Standards of Nursing Practice and the clinical operations and financial matters related to all nursing and clinical care areas and functions.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's degree in Hospital Administration and/or MBA or MSN required.

Licenses/Certification: Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse - RN. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a hospital administrative role and a minimum of five (5) years nursing experience required. Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.
