The Interpreter Services Coordinator will act as administrative support to the Interpreter Services Department, providing timely, accurate information while ensuring an excellent experience.
Daily duties include but are not limited to processing all requests for Interpreter Services, managing complex calendar of confirmed appointments, triaging requests requiring immediate response, answering and triaging incoming calls, confirming appointments with internal stakeholders, and coordinating requests for interpreters with outside agencies.
The Interpreter Services Coordinator will also assist in inventory control of the video interpreting machines and act as a liaison to the vendor for troubleshooting.
Interpreter Services is under the Office of Experience Transformation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSThree (3) years of relevant administrative experience in a large, complex healthcare or clinic setting.
Understanding of medical interpretation requirements in health care setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.

Annual Full Pay Range: $54,664 - $67,944 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $26.18 - $32.54
