Program Manager - Delegation & Accreditation

1.0FTE (40 hours per week)

Monday - Friday 8a - 5p

Full-time benefits

Proactively leads the Partners for Kids (PFK) care navigation relationships, manages the development, implementation, coordination, and quality improvement structure necessary to meet all accreditation (NCQA) and certification requirements. Collaborates to meet regulatory standards, improve care for patients, and facilitate the provision of care coordination services.

Responsibilities

* Recruits, trains, evaluates, develops, coaches, and manages staff. Assures that performance standards are met. Promotes teamwork by building a team environment and fostering cross functional collaboration.
* Ensures regulatory compliance and emergency response preparedness. Maintains safety and quality as priorities, providing direction, prioritization, accountability, enthusiasm and support for safety and quality initiatives.
* Coordinates staff representation on departmental, hospital and community task forces, committees, quality teams and advisory groups. Serves as a representative.
* Coordinates the design of educational material and the orientation of department personnel to case management role functions as well as information systems.
* Maintains a working knowledge of assigned functions. Serves as a liaison with third party payors, community agencies and leadership regarding these essential functions.
* Contributes to development of expense, operational, and capital budgets.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Master's degree in a business, health, or science (e.g., MPH, MHA, MBA), or related field, required.

SKILLS
* Strong organizational skills, proficiency with spreadsheets and databases are necessary.
* Robust verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for interactions with diverse populations.
* Ability to function independently and to make decisions.

EXPERIENCE
* Prior work with NCQA and accreditation.
* Prior experience with program and people management, preferred.
* Microsoft Office experience, required.
