Description
SUMMARY

The Internal Event Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of all internal events and functions held in all event spaces throughout Gillette Stadium. This position will plan and execute many unique and diverse events working closely with all internal departments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with all internal departments on all event planning details and oversees all aspects of facility operations related to internal events.
  • Create event documentation such as banquet event orders, floor plans and banquet checks.
  • Compile all logistical information related to the event including, but not limited to, load in, set up, execution and load out while adhering to all guidelines and policies of the stadium.
  • Participate in internal meetings, BEO meetings, pre-con meetings and post meetings.
  • Guide and inform internal departments of operational challenges and conflicts associated with event and determine how to best solve these challenges or offer alternative solutions.
  • Ensure that events progress seamlessly by following established internal procedures, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy on all event documents and correspondence.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments and vendors for all supporting items such as AV, decor, linens, rental furniture, etc.
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the planning process and emphasize guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position has no supervisory responsibility but will interface with all internal departments.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior food and beverage or event planning experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to work on many projects and with multiple clients simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power Point and Delphi
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
