Job Description
Do you have experience working in the Fabricating and Welding industry? Are you looking to work in an office setting where you are responsible for routing customer jobs from start to finish?

Our client is in the Green Bay area in the fabrication industry and is looking for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join their team! They are looking for someone who wants to be a part of their "family" and make a career with the company.

Responsibilities:
Will be working with the purchasing and estimating department team to enter and route upcoming jobs per the customer's requests while maintaining the proper shop capacities.
  • Verify all part numbers, revisions, and quantities are correct and match purchase orders
  • Put together travelers and saw cut lists with correct prints to be distributed to work centers for all in house work
  • Fill out RFQ sheets with proper information along with attaching proper quotes and prints needed
  • Verify all outsourced operations and services needed
  • Verify vendor quote is current and correct for services or materials needed
  • Review material quotes for proper material call outs and lead times to ensure it will be correct and on time
  • Make decisions on proper workflow routings and material based off of blueprints
  • Learn the Global Scheduling aspects of JobBoss
  • Assist with quote and job entry as needed
  • Update data entry as needed

General Information:
Hours: Full time, 44 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm and Friday 7am-3:30pm
Length: Temporary to hire, potentially Direct Hire

Requirements:
  • Must have fabricating and welding industry experience
  • Previous experience reading blue prints is required
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge
  • JobBoss software experience is a plus
