Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Software Developer is responsible for developing digital solutions that optimizes data extraction, visualization, tracking, and reporting. The ideal candidate will complete tasks under minimal supervision and develop process improvements as needed. The successful candidate should have the ability to interface and communicate clearly and effectively with internal leadership and clients.

This position is based in TRC's San Juan, Puerto Rico office.


Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - TASKS

  • Designend-to-endsolutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing
  • Development of digital solutions, estimating work content and achieving planned timelines.
  • Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
  • Development of solutions in the Power Platform among others.
  • Understanding how to implement digital solutions with multiple data sources.
  • Work with clients to support various projects and solutions.
  • Meet requirements, agreed completion dates, and perform unit and integration testing.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to understand client needs and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
  • Proficient working in agile project methodologies.
  • Adapt at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality.
  • Address and remediate vulnerabilities findings in digital tools.
  • Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to customers, team leads, and team members.
  • Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app developers, IT Operations, and Program Management.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform, MS PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience in Net development experience with familiarity with C#, ASP.Net MVC, JavaScript, and HTML is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel, MS PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance.
  • Experience developing PowerApps Canvas model is a plus.
  • Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Power Automate is a plus.
  • An understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods is a plus.
  • Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively between projects, manage time independently and to work effectively on a project team.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) required.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to perform job duties with minimal direct supervision.
