The Role in Brief:

User Engagement Lead

EAB is seeking a driven, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial individual to drive student engagement in an anticipated acquired technology Forage, that provides best-in-class virtual job simulations and career preparation tools to students. In this role you will be responsible for getting existing EAB student networks activated and engaged in Forage as well as be part of a Higher Education Partnership effort to embed Forage simulations in the curriculum of new colleges.

This role will be based Washington, D.C. or Richmond, Virginia; remote applicants who would be based within the continental United States are also welcomed for this opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive student engagement strategy for our Navigate and Forage capabilities. This involves understanding student needs, market trends, and product capabilities to devise strategies that maximize student interaction and satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and marketing to create and implement promotional materials. This requires effective communication and teamwork to ensure alignment of goals and objectives across various departments.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling and relevant content for our student app, email campaigns and other marketing materials, aimed at promoting engagement and utilization of our tools. Ensure the relevancy and accuracy of information, and tailor content to suit different student segments.
  • Marketing Campaigns Management: Set up, run, and optimize marketing campaigns through our Acquia product. This includes planning campaign timelines, targeting relevant audiences, writing and building engaging emails, and analyzing campaign performance.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct regular analysis and reporting of campaign performance and student engagement metrics. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize future strategies and drive continuous improvement in student engagement.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in student engagement, and apply this knowledge to strategy development. This involves conducting research and networking with experts in the field.
  • Customer Relationship Management: In partnership with the Navigate partner success team, work closely with Navigate and Forage partners to ensure their success and satisfaction with our approach. This includes providing training and support, resolving issues, and seeking feedback to improve our offerings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and refine student engagement strategies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our approach to student engagement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years' professional experience
  • Able to clearly and precisely express complex ideas in written and graphical form; skilled at adapting language, format, and style for various media and audiences
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, Acquia, etc.), integrated campaign management, and analyzing impact metrics
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Able to take ownership and drive projects from beginning to end, working with multiple groups effectively and on multiple projects concurrently
  • Intellectually curious, quick study, creative, attentive to detail, self-motivated

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Proven Email Marketing and/or Marketing Automation experience, specifically with the development and execution of adoption and engagement campaigns
  • Experience working in higher education whether in Student Success, Career Center or Academic Advising Office
  • Graphic design proficiency with software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign, as well as the ability to create engaging animations and GIFs

Compensation:

The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $59,000 - $85,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.

This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
