Associate System Implementation Specialist

Job Summary:

Associate-level position to provide professional support for hospital system go-live activities and problem resolution. Serves as a resource for all system activities with the goal to promote customer satisfaction from the point of sale through the product life cycle.

Position Specifications:

Essential Functions:

  • Provide primary support of go-lives in systems that have been installed and tested by the System Implementation Specialist (SIS) assigned to the project
  • Schedule and perform installations and system add-ons according to customer requirements and survey specifications, and in conjunction with the go-live schedule established by the SIS assigned to the project.
  • Ensure that system performance meets product specifications by completing verification testing.
  • Document all activities in accordance with MINDRAY NA Service Administrative and Quality system policies and procedures, including but not limited to MDR and field corrections.
  • Provide a second line of service support by responding on-site to unusual or otherwise difficult problems which are beyond the local service representatives' capabilities.
  • Schedule and coordinate system updates as required.
  • Ongoing on-the-job training for potential advancement to SIS position.


Knowledge/Educational Requirement

  • Formal technical training via school, military, or other means.
  • Basic knowledge of WIFI and IT network systems
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office


Skills and Abilities

  • Technically proficient in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Mindray monitoring systems
  • Well-organized, able to function independently, with a minimum of supervision
  • Exhibits a high level of critical thinking abilities
  • Customer-oriented, with good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic demeanor and a can-do attitude
  • Good driving record

Physical Demands/Work Environment

The work environment is within hospitals. Physical work such as working in ceilings, under nurse's stations, hospital basements, etc. Travel a minimum of 85%, ground transportation, and airline travel. Requires a significant amount of overnight stays away from home during the work week. Ability to lift approximately 75 lbs. with or without assistance.

Must be available for emergency assistance at any time.
