Location: US: WI: MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 1.0

Shift: Shift 1

Educational Interventional Radiology 10 month program, requiring a schedule of 8-1630 Monday - Friday and rotational on call shifts

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Interventional Radiology Supervisor and the assigned proctor, the technologist will be responsible for learning to: assist with assigned interventional radiographic and related procedures for diagnostic interpretation and/or therapeutic interventions; document inventory of materials and supplies used in the related services. Technologist will attend in service education programs for interventional radiology procedures. Upon completion of program, staff member should be able to meet the minimum, basic competencies of an Interventional Technologist per Job Description. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Completion of an approved Radiology Technology program is required.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION:

Basic computer skills, HIS and PACS.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
