Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst
Work Location: Ft. Collins, CO or Remote
Clearance Required: US Citizen & Public Trust

Alpha Omega is seeking a talented Sr. Business Analyst with a minimum of 9 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in applying industry best practices to assist clients in defining business strategies and selecting appropriate software solutions. This role involves assessing organizational baselines, identifying technology inadequacies, and generating strategies for enhanced IT operations. The Mid-Level Business Analyst will work across various areas contributing to the development of organizational strategies and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in applying common best practices to help clients define business strategies and select software solutions.
  • Utilize a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and identify relevant issues in selecting application software packages.
  • Assess the operational and functional baseline of organizations and their components.
  • Contribute to defining the direction and strategy for engagements, ensuring organizational needs are met.
  • Identify information technology inadequacies and deficiencies affecting functional areas' ability to meet organizational goals.
  • Contribute to generating strategies for enhanced IT operations across functional areas throughout the organization.
  • Participate in account strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews.
  • Assist in coordinating the resolution of highly complex problems and tasks.
  • Contribute to validating enterprise approaches and associated work products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a relevant industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply industry best practices to define business strategies and select software solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is advantageous but not required.
