The Summerlin Assistant Account Manager is second in command of the Summerlin guard service contracts and supports the primary Account Manager with day-to-day management of the contract, with a particular focus on the administrative/office duties required for the operation of the account

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The role requires supervising security officers, investigating and reporting incidents and irregularities to Account Manager/Operations Manager, assisting in the management of site staff, functions, vehicles, and equipment.
  • When no trained security officers at a site are available, and the Shift Supervisors are unavailable, the Assistant Supervisor may cover critical posts whenever feasible.
  • Duties will include, but not be limited to providing excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Uses technology in a meaningful way to monitor guard/patrol activities and attendance.
  • Ensures that established goals and objectives for the company and guard staff are accomplished with prescribed priorities, time limitations and with fiscal responsibilities; advises, makes recommendations, assists in the formulation of goals and objectives; monitors policies and staff, procedures and programs; complies with federal, state and local legal regulations; and exercises sound judgment in the course of carrying out overall responsibilities and other activities as assigned.
  • Direct required personnel and visitors to appropriate locations within the property.
  • Identify, report, and document all safety hazards, malfunctioning equipment, spills, and other such matters to appropriate agencies, authorities, and/or client representative.
  • Respond to emergency situations and evaluate situations encountered and take appropriate actions.
  • Use independent judgment and discretion as necessary in the performance of routine and non-routine activities.
  • Investigate questionable acts or behaviors observed or reported on client premises and question witnesses and suspects to ascertain or verify facts, and notify authorities if warranted.
  • Maintain custody of the assigned phone and respond to calls and texts made to company issued phone.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene and wear proper apparel combinations while maintaining a professional appearance. Required apparel shall be clean and pressed at all times.
  • Maintain high quality communication and interaction with client personnel.
  • Complete and maintain all required reports promptly, legibly, accurately, thoroughly, neatly, and with correct grammar and spelling.
  • Prepares reports and records for Account Manager/company as needed to ensure operation efficiency and quality control.
  • Provides recommendations related to current procedures, practices, and precedents for accomplishing guard activities and functions relative to guard services.
  • Performs audits of patrol/guard related performance and equipment.
  • Assists in ensuring patrol vehicles are maintained.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere within the areas of assignment.
  • Conducts, supervises, and prepares reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of regulations, policies, and procedures; develops, implements, and manages patrol training.
  • Assists in the preparation updating and maintenance of standard operating procedures, emergency management protocols and contingency planning.
  • Makes recommendations on personnel actions such as recruitment, selections, transfers, promotions, and discipline or dismissal measures.

WORKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Constant ability to stand stationary and or walk during entire shift.
Work environment is primarily in a professional office environment. Work environment may also be outdoors or indoors with frequent patrols during inclement weather and in extreme cold or hot weather. May be required to complete some work from home.
Will be exposed to slippery or uneven walking surfaces, dust, dirt, fumes, and odors.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Intermediate math skills required.
  3. High oral and written communication skills required.
  4. Must Read/Write/Speak English fluently.
  5. Must have valid NV Driver's License.
  6. Must have a valid PILB Card.
  7. Must maintain client approval to work on site.
